° Pisa - Lucca

Your day tour begins with a one hour drive through the lovely Tuscan countryside to Lucca.
Lucca is a tidy gem of a town encased within its famous walls with lots of charm and narrow medieval streets. The city has some wonderful examples of roman, medieval and renaissance architecture, amazing churches, including the Duomo di San Martino which contains the “Volto Santo” (Holy Face), a wooden figure of Christ which is considered to be a true likeness of the face of Christ. Others sights of interest are San Frediano, San Michele Church , Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, Guinigi Tower, Napoleone Square.
Lucca's historical centre is attractive also in shops and elegant boutiques, take a walk on Via Fillungo and enjoy a stop in one of the local cafes and traditional restaurants.
Then we will head for Pisa, your driver will bring you in Piazza dei Miracoli which ranks as one of the world's lovelist squares. You can now admire "La Torre Pendente" the Leaning Tower(opportunity to climb the tower take 30 minutes pre booking recommended), Pisa's majestic Romanesque cathedral and the unusual round Baptistry.
